Sweet Potato Mash

Ingredients
  

Crust

  • 2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2/3 Cup Flour
  • 2 Cup Chopped Nuts (Pecans)
  • 1 Cup Butter (melted)

Sweet Potato Mixture

  • 6 Cups Mashed Sweet Potatoes
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4 Eggs Well Beaten
  • 1/2 Cup Butter (melted)

Instructions
 

  • Combine brown sugar, flour, nuts, butter in mixing bowl and set aside.  This is the topping.
    Pre-heat oven for 375.
    Boil sweet potatoes for 30 minutes, then shock in ice water. Sit for around 1 hour.
    Combine sweet potatoes, sugar, salt, vanilla, eggs and butter in a mixing bowl in the order listed. Mix thoroughly for 4 minutes, medium speed.
    Pour mixture into buttered baking dish.
    Bake for 30 minutes.
    Put crust on and bake for another 10 minutes.
    Let sit for 30 minutes.
    Can be made the day before, just refrigerate and let sit out for 30 minutes before putting in the oven.

  • 1 Jar Maraschino Cherries With Stems
  • 1 Bottle Whatever Flavor you want
  • 1 Package Chocolate
  • 1 Coarse Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Drain the juice from cherries and fill the jar with your favorite spirit. We used Jack Fire, Red Stag, Smirnoff Vanilla, and Knob Creek.
    Let sit overnight.
    Melt chocolate in microwave.
    Take cherry by stem and dip in chocolate.
    Roll in sugar and set on parchment paper

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Half Gallon Store Bought Eggnog
  • 2 Ounces Rum
  • 2 Ounces Brandy
  • 4 Ounces Amaretto
  • 2 Ounces Kahlua

Instructions
 

  • Pour eggnog into mixing container.
    Mix in alcohol.
    Garnish with nutmeg or cinnamon.
    Done.
